Personally I believe this was a fake hackathon. If you click the organisation's name ("Tech Tree Root") and then see a hackathon they held in 2021, someone else commented that that hackathon was fake and warned other people to avoid this organisation. I've informed DevPost about it but it's not clear if they will do anything about this such as preventing this organisation from posting hackathons in the future.
